Redding, CA
I’m now in Redding, CA where my parents live, and I’m thoroughly enjoying the break from the hustle and bustle of busy San Francisco. Redding isn’t necessarily “middle of nowhere”, but it definitely isn’t a San Francisco either.
The daily routine is dreaded by everyone, and simply getting out of the environment you’re used to can be enough of a change to break a cycle of monotony. Escaping to Redding is my way to break the norm.
Unfortunately for me, with a laptop and wifi, work and school tend to follow me anyway.
The end of another chapter
As my college life draws to an end this December, I can’t help but to feel like another chapter in my life has been inked. I remember graduating from high school, daunted by the new responsibilities living on my own in college would bring. I distinctly remember fearing not only the unknown, but questioning whether I’d be able to handle it. And, with the final semester of my college career nearing every day, I feel the same unnerving sense in my gut. Will I be able to handle living on my own? Will I be financially responsible?
